DONOVALY is a mountain village ( 960 m above sea level )situated on the dividing line of the Veľká Fatra and the Low Tatras mountain ranges. In winter its slopes are a paradise for experienced skiiers as well for beginners, snowboardists, cross-country skiers and the paraglidists. In the summer there are good conditions for trekking, cyclotouring etc.
